Thanks for visiting!  This is my personal site — designed to entertain, educate, and inspire. My primary passion includes surfing and everything to do with the art of riding waves.  The surfing lifestyle has given me motivation, focus, enlightenment, solace, appreciation for nature, and most importantly – a vehicle to explore different physical, mental, social, and spiritual avenues. It has allowed me to travel to distant locations around the globe, from extremely remote jungle camps on the edges of the earth, to booming metropolises in the heart of civilization. It has allowed me to immerse myself into, explore, and examine different cultures, different perspectives, different people, and different ways of life.

Music is also one of my great passions.  I believe it taps into a very innate emotion of the human condition, and more importantly — sparks our primal urge to create.  I’ve been spinning house music since 2003 as a hobby, and enjoy combining different sounds to create a composition, or a “DJ set”.  Legendary Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam said that there’s a distinct difference between a song, and music.  He commented that music is all about transitions.  I can really identify with Eddie’s remarks here, because I’ve always felt that the whole aim of my DJ sets was to create music out of a proper arrangement of compatible yet dynamic songs — ultimately an audiophonic journey.  A DJ set done properly should tell a story, it should ebb and flow, create different moods, conjure images, inspire emotion.
